Trust Me (wink, wink)?
The more outrage about the Harriet Miers pick, the more pathetic the response from the White House.
After nominating yet another crony to the Supreme Court that seems little qualified and a razor thin resume:
Career Goals: Be on the Supreme Court
Past Experience: George Bush's lawyer and friend
College: Some School in Texas
President Bush's response of "trust me" on this one is insulting. Given the numerous appointments by this president that have nothing to do with experience and everything to do with being his pal, this President has lost all credibility in the Trust department. Enough. The Supreme Court is for the very best Judges in this country, not some pal with a law degree.

Thank God you are beginning to see the light.
No doubt the events of his presidency have been tumultuous, but some have been of his own doing. Wish the other party could have been more successful in finding someone who could have handled it all better.
