New Messiah is so Likeable, al-Qaeda Struggles to Make Him the Bad Guy

Or so says the Washington Post.

This is one of the most ridiculous articles I've read in some time. This poor soul, Joby Warrick, is twisting like a pretzel to fit this piece into his agenda that Bush is bad, Obama is good. Sheesh.

Apparently, al-Qaeda was formed because Bush was elected. It grew as an organization all because Muslims don't like Bush.

Look at this:

"The departure of George W. Bush deprived al-Qaeda of a polarizing American leader who reliably drove recruits and donations to the terrorist group."

Really? This is absurd. George Bush is more responsible for decimating al-Qaeda than strengthening it. Are we really supposed to believe that as al-Qaeda was getting its ass kicked that young Muslim men were joining in droves?

Here's another doozy:

"With Obama, al-Qaeda faces an entirely new challenge, experts say: a U.S. president who campaigned to end the Iraq war and to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and who polls show is well liked throughout the Muslim world."

So, they're struggling because Obama is liked by the Muslim world? You see, they were not struggling when they were getting killed left and right by the U.S. military, no, no. They're struggling because they don't know how to dislike the Chosen One.

Finally, he quotes another useless idiot named Rita Katz to fit the agenda:

Site founder Rita Katz said the messages show "just how much al-Qaeda is intimidated by Obama."

Riiight. They're trembling in their boots right now because, darn it, so many people like this guy! Not that they've been hiding in caves for 7 years trying not to get killed, that was fine and dandy. But, the new messiah is so popular, they don't know how to cope!
